In memoriam of our beloved dog Bentley 7/4/01-8/4/08 Bentley came into our lives when he was only 12 weeks old and the Inn became his home Bentley was loved by all who knew him and he gave love to all he came in contact with His spirit is ever present and we will remember him for all the laughs, love and kisses he was always willing to offer The pleasure he got from "belly rubs", "ear scratches", "getting brushed pretty","walks to the beach" and "playing ball" never outweighed the pleasure he gave by unconditionally loving us and demonstrating relentless loyalty to us He is "the best dog in the whole world" and we told him so every day Bentley, "buddy" sleep well as you will forever be in our hearts.

Nestled between Prouts neck, and Crescent Beach State Park, the Higgins Beach Inn is ideally situated for a leisurely vacation on one of the finest beaches in Maine.  Plan time for sunbathing, walks along the beach, surf casting, treasure hunting for sand dollars and shells, or surfing.  Enjoy the brilliant colors of the setting sun or just relax in the comfort of the Inn listening to the sounds of the surf hitting the beach.

Advance reservations are recommended and become necessary during the summer months.  We request that you follow up your telephone conversation with a deposit outlined in the rate schedule .  We honor American Express, Visa & MasterCard, and will gladly accept your personal check, travelers check, or cash.   Designated smoking areas are available.

Breakfast is served Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the dining room or  front porch.  The dining room will be available for dinner from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Check out our menus.

The Higgins Beach Inn & Garofalo's Restaurant are open from mid May thru mid October.  When writing for rates please mention children's ages, number of people, and length of stay.
